WALL SURFACE PREPARATION
The background must be smooth. So if the wall is new make sure it is uniform and apply our Quartz Primer. On an old wall, we recommend removing all not solid paint and applying Primer Normal diluted with water 1 to 10. Then apply the plaster until the surface is perfectly smooth and apply Quartz Primer.
Note: Quartz Primer can be applied in natural white or in a color of a slightly lighter tone than the final Kristalium color.
APPLICATION
Apply the undiluted product with a brush or spalter, with short brush strokes starting from one point, then spreading it out in all directions. After applying it to an area of approximately 1 square meter, wipe the decorated surface with a dry brush, brushing the surface with strokes going in all directions. This helps to increase the decorative effect. After about 5 to 6 hours at 20 °C, you can apply the second coat in the same way, paying careful attention to go over the small accumulations of the minute glassy sand in an orderly manner. This gives the finish its unique aesthetic effect. After about 20 minutes, before it start drying, press the surface with a stainless steel spatula. This allows the glitter to spread out evenly at surface level, thus increasing the softness of the surface and the glitter effect.
